What is a Single Image?

Great for any single image design, intended to be applied in one area, without cutting the design apart. Your artwork can be any size, as long as it fits on the sheet size selected.

Art Requirements

Before uploading your artwork, here's some important information you need to know to get the best results.

Our pre-production team will perform a 15-point check on your design to ensure your artwork is ready to print. If there are any questions or concerns, we will send a detailed email with options for getting your artwork adjusted and back on track. If your file passes our checks, it will be sent to production without delay.

1. Save your art file in an accepted file format

  • Recommended file types: PDF, AI, EPS or PSD

  • Accepted file types: PDF, AI, EPS, PSD, JPG, PNG or TIFF

If using Corel Draw, please save your file as a PDF before submitting.

2. Send your artwork at the exact size that you want it to print.

If you select a 9"x12.75" sheet, but upload an image that is 8"x8", we will print your image at the size you uploaded (8"x8"). You are responsible for confirming your artworks size. If you need help, we can provide artwork services for an additional fee.

Do not upload your artwork in "Mirror Image".

3. Submit artwork in CMYK color space.

Be sure you save your art as a CMYK file. Do not upload RGB artwork.  We will print the CMYK values in your file as submitted. We recommend referring to the Pantone Solid Coated Color Bridge for CMYK values. For any areas you want to print WHITE, please make sure those areas are WHITE in your artwork. Remove any unwanted backgrounds or colors from your artwork before uploading.

4. Convert all text to outlines

Make sure your fonts are not “live fonts” they should be converted to non-editable vectors.

5. Check your line weights

Standalone white areas must be at least 1pt positive to print consistently. Printing areas of color must be at least 3 points thick to be opaque when applied. Details that fall under this recommended spec may not print consistently or at all.

How to Apply Using a Hand Iron or Craft Press

Step 1: Set up your workspace

Use a flat, sturdy surface, like a table with a heat-resistant mat or towel. Do not use an ironing board. Smooth out your garment to remove wrinkles.

Step 2: Set your iron or press

Aim for high heat, around the cotton or linen setting. If you're able to set the temp, set to 300˚F.

Step 3: Place, cover, and press

Place the Digital transfer on the garment. Cover with parchment paper to shield both the design and the iron. Press the iron firmly, with as much pressure as you can, for 20-30 seconds without moving it.

Step 4: Let cool, then peel carefully

Let the transfer cool completely. Once cool to the touch, gently peel from a corner. If it hasn't fully adhered, lay the film back down and press again for another 20 seconds. Allow the transfer to cool, then peel slowly.

Step 5: Final press

After peeling, cover the design with parchment or a cloth and press for 1 5 more seconds to soften the design and improve durability and washability.

For multiple designs, press one at a time. Just be sure to cover the design(s) you already applied with the film sheet or parchment paper
