Print size & placement FAQ
What size should a left chest logo be?
Most left chest logos are 3–4" wide on adult shirts, up to 5" × 5". Youth runs 2.5–3.5" and toddler 2–2.5". Center the logo on a line just off the outside edge of the collar, level with the bottom of the armpit seam, then nudge it slightly above that line.
How far below the collar should a front print go?
Start the top of the design 3–3.5" below the neckline on adult shirts (1.5" on a v-neck), 3" on youth, 1.5–2" on toddler and 1" on infant.
What is the largest print that fits on a t-shirt?
An oversized full front or full back runs up to 12" wide × 15" tall on adult shirts. Most full-front designs land at 10–12" wide. Youth shirts top out around 10" × 10".
Where should a print go on the back of a hoodie?
Start it about 6" below the back neckline (4–4.5" if the hood is worn up) so the hood doesn’t cover it. A typical hoodie back print is 10–12" wide.
What size should jersey numbers and names be?
Back numbers run 10–12" tall for adult football and hockey (8–10" youth), 8–10" for soccer and about 8" for basketball, baseball and softball. Back names are 2–2.5" tall (1.75–2" youth). Always check league rules.
How big can a logo be on a hat?
Cap fronts usually take a design 2.5–4" wide × 2–2.5" tall, up to 5" × 3" on taller caps. Low-profile caps max out around 4" × 1.75". Skip caps with a center front seam.
Will you resize my artwork to fit?

Sizes are typical starting points, not guarantees. Max sizes depend on the garment’s size,
seams, zippers and pockets. Team number sizes vary by league, so confirm with the league before ordering.
